The History of The Positive Economist

2010

Susan Hayes Culleton and Ardle Culleton set up the Positive Economist blog to write articles around economics, entrepreneurship, and the financial markets. 


2011

Made our first export sale by delivering financial training to a bank and financial services organizations in Malta.

2012

Spoke at the first international conference in London

for the Irish International Business Network.

2013

Launched "The Savvy Woman's Guide to Financial Freedom" enabling women to turn their financial dreams into a reality.

2014

Published "The Savvy Guide to Making More Money" with Penguin focusing on entrepreneurship and income generation for those interested in putting more money in their pockets.

2015

Co-founded Savvy Teen Academy and started a range of thought leadership pieces relating to Generation Z and the Future of the World of Work.

2016

Started the first Innovation Partnership with DCU bringing active peer learning to our financial education and conference experiences.

2017

Gained Associate Lecturer status at Ulster University Business School.

2018

Joined the board of the Ireland Hong Kong Business Forum.

2019

Brought the second edition of "Positive Economics" to secondary schools as the economics syllabus was updated after fifty years.

2020

Acted as MC for a digital conference for the first time weaving together the strands of stories, technology and audience interaction in more innovative ways than ever before.
